I can see clearly now!

As everyone now knows, I had Lasiks eye surgery yesterday. Everything went well. I was in some pain right afterwards but a 3 hour nap took care of that. I was a little nervous because my sight was still unclear but nightime but when I woke up this morning I could see just fine. The only thing is that everything has a glow around it, kinda like Cybil Sheppard in Moonlighting.

I had my follow up this morning at TLC and they said that I have 20/20 vision with out the use of glasses/contacts. The glow I see is normal.

If any of you are thinking of doing it, I highly recommend taking the Valium that they offer before hand. I didn't but regretted it afterwards. It didn't hurt but it was very uncomfortable when they make the flap in your cornea. In the end it was totally worth it. Please check out my before and after shots, as you can see it's quite a difference.

I'm glad everything went well, E! You were awake while they did this? I always assumed that you got put under for this--who can stay still when someone is messing with your eye? I guess I don't know much about it! How long did it take?

I was awake the whole time. They offered a Valium but I said no. I should've taken it. It was only about 15 minutes. Totally worth it though. I'm so happy! It's weird going to bed and still being able to see.
