I just wanted to encourage you all to get out and vote today. W and I already did. My town is very organized when it comes to voting. You're in and out of there even at one of the most busiest times. We even got decent parking this year.
Things I heard while voting:
"Dammit, you treat me like a kid sometimes. I've been voting for over 50, I think I know how to do this."
"Mom, why did you vote for McCain??!! You said you were going to vote for Obama, you can't vote for McCain, Obama has to win. You need to explain to me in one sentance why you voted for McCain."
I actually wanted to hear what her response was but I was done voting and there was a line beginning to form for open booths.
Welp, get out there and make your voice heard.

I voted today...for our first Black President, people were very intent and seemed happy doing what people in many other parts in the world cannot do... buy muffins and chocolate chip cookies at the polling booth, isn't America the greatest place in earth, well Aruba is nice this time of year, oh wait it's nice all year, and the people are nice and the cost of living is nice and they use the American dollar and they have Dunkin Donuts AND THEY VOTE TOO (but no muffins and cookies)...the people working at the polling place were, well older than I, and well to say the least, not so with it. I live on Raleigh road , not rully road, and my name is not Pam, not Craig, but Shawn, yes a male, how many bald Pam's do you know. Then she was going to check my neighbors name at 13 Raleigh road, hello, and I could have been Joe the plumber because they never even checked my identity, well overall it was a good voting experience, and quick, and filling, and fulfilling...

After seeing all the people running for different offices unapposed I've decided next election I'm putting my name. Not going to campaign or anything. Just putting my name on the ballot figure one of these guys may have screwed up enough to get me some votes.
