Traffic question

So I'm driving to work yesterday on 495. We're all going at a smooth 65 mph and all of a sudden, we stop. Thank God I left enough room so I didn't hit the car in front of me. I also thank Him for having the guy behind me leave enough room so he didn't hit me either. My question is WHY? I want to know why we just stopped. You could see ahead an there was no traffic at all, no accident, no cop cars with their hypnotising flashy lights that seem to stop traffic even though we've all seen them before (I could keep going on about that subject but that's for another blog).

Ten seconds later, we go on our merry way. I have a friend who blames hills for halting traffic, and I agree with him, but not this time. There were no hills in the area to effect us.

If anyone can explain, please do so. I'd like to know why traffic is against me. Why??

Curves... sometimes curves in the road become very confusing to people, too.

It's usually caused by the "DIPS" on the road.

Maybe it was the old lady doing 20 miles an hour (not an exageration My spedometer read 20 mph behind her)that I got stuck behind on 95 last night. That's honestly more dangerous than speeding. I saw a semi lock up it's wheels trying not to hit her.

Ohh, curves is a new one. I think we were on a straight away at that point. I may side with W and say that there was someone in the high speed lane that shouldn't of.
