This past weekend me and 4 of my friends went to Hyannis for a mini vacation. We left early Friday morning with no traffic in sight. We made it there in record time. Our first stop once we checked in - Persys! Home of the worlds BEST breakfast. We even got free cornbread to take home with us.
Weather wise, Friday wasn't all that great. We decided to do a little shopping instead. We hit the flea market first then the smaller stores around Hyannis. I bought Will a shirt that says "Will the mother who left her 9 children at Fenway Park please pick them up, they are beating the Yankees 5-0." Sad thing is that I didn't get it until I gave the shirt to Will 2 days later.
Saturday was a beach day. I burnt my back and the back of my legs. It was very uncomfortable to sit but a few drinks made that feel a little better. After the beach, we all cleaned up and went of for a yummy dinner and some drinks.
Sunday was another not so nice weather day. We left right when we got up. By the time I got home I was in need of a nap. Apparently I was very tired, once I woke up I started to tell W all about my weekend . . . again! He listened, he's such a good husband.
