Feeling a bit down?

This weekend we turn our clocks back for Daylight Savings Time. Most of us get SAD around this time of year. Well, I have a few cures which will brighten up your day - yodelling and penguins. Not necessarily at the same time.

First, listen to yodelling. It may sound silly, but I'm telling you, a couple of minutes into a song and you'll be trying to sing along. Oh, you know you can't yodel but you'll try. Then you'll break out in laughter because you can hear how stupid you sound. Guaranteed tears of joy.

Second, watch a movie on penguins. Doesn't matter which one, they are just so funny to watch. Oh, I know there's always a sad part of any wildlife documentary, but the scene after the leopard seal eats a baby penguin, BAM! Cute penguins waddling around like life is a piece of pie. Again, puts a smile on my face.

I hope you find my suggestions helpful.

I'll have to give these a try. Turning the clocks back is such a pointless thing...... I typically stop my saddness from it by growing angry at why we continue to follow this 'rule' that holds little practical value in today world. See now I am not so sad any more. :)

Just want to note that when we turn the clocks back in the fall, it's not daylight savings time anymore, it's actually just plain old regular time (or standard time). Daylight savings time is in the spring when we move the clocks ahead. So what you actually want is to be in a constant state of day light savings and just forgo standard time.
I wonder how the penguins handle this condundrum??

Maybe they yodel ;)
